  New Connection   Reconnection   Apply for Senior Citizen Discount
 HOW TO APPLY FOR NEW CONNECTION
All applicants for New Connection (Residential, Low Voltage and High Voltage) are required to attend a PRE-MEMBERSHIP SEMINAR (PMS) being held at:

  • CASURECO IV Carpark
  • Main Office , Talojongon, Tigaon, Camarines Sur
  • Every Friday. Registration starts at 8:00 AM
After completing the PMS, you will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance which you will attach at the Application Form for New Connection thereafter together with all the requirements to be submitted.

BUSINESS PROCESS WHEN APPLYING FOR NEW CONNECTION

Here`s for you to know of our business process if you are planning to apply for electric connection. The applicant must attend first the Pre-Membership Seminar (PMS) being conducted at the CASURECO IV Multi-Purpose Building at Talojongon, Tigaon, Camarines Sur every Friday.

  1. After attending the PMS, the applicant should comply the requirements stated on the next slide The Consumer Relations Advocacy Officer (CRAO) during his conduct of seminar shall provide information and instruction of the necessary requirements and how each will be complied.
  2. Qualified applications shall be endorsed to Housewiring Coordinator for inspection

  3. Upon payment of Inspection Fee, application form with the necessary documents shall be scheduled for the conduct of house wiring inspection to determine that it is within the standard set forth by the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), National Electrification Administration (NEA), and CASURECO IV policies

    The inspector will determine if the applicant is compliant to stated standards. Otherwise, the applicant shall be guided to comply and qualify thereafter.

    The applicant shall be informed of the length of service drop wires (SDW) to be used from the tapping point up to the household.

    The inspector shall then submit the accomplished Inspection Report to the Consumer Data Coordinator (CDC) for processing and computation of necessary fees ready for connection/tapping.

  4. The applicant must secure clearances from the following:
    1. Financial Auditor (Audit)
    2. Accounts Analyst (Finance Services Department)
    3. Distribution Asset Management & System (DAMS) – Technical Services Department
    4. Institutional Services Department (Institutional Services Department)

  5. Pay the necessary fees enumerated at the application form

  6. Once the applicant has already paid the fees, the Consumer Data Coordinator will prepare the Service Drop Connection Order or Turn-On Order and endorse to the Technical Services Department

  7. The linemen shall install the kwhr meter and energize the line A copy of the accomplished Service Drop Connection (Turn-On Order) will be submitted to the Institutional Services Department (ISD) for inclusion of Member-Consumer-Owner (MCO) name at the list of New Members
REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW CONNECTION

  1. Seminar Certificate (that the applicant had undergone Pre-Membership Seminar or PMS). The certificate shall include the date of PMS and duly signed by the Consumer Relation and Advocacy Officer
  2. Notarized Application for Membership (2 copies)
  3. Notarized Contract for electric service connection (2 copies must be accomplished)
  4. Latest 2x2 picture (2 copies)
  5. Latest Community Tax Certificate (Residential Certificate or ANY Government ID (SSS, GSIS, Driver`s License, UMID, etc)
  6. Barangay Certification showing proof of residency (ERC Resolution No. 28, Nov. 15, 2010)
  7. Sample current bill of the nearest consumer (if applicable)
  8. Electrical Permit & Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection (CFEI) - LGU
  9. Fire Safety Inspection Report / Certificate – BFP
  10. Duly Signed / Sealed Electrical Plan , in A3 (if not exceeded five (5) outlets) - Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE)
  11. Any of the following, whichever is applicable per ERC Resolution No. 28 Nov. 15, 2010:
    • Contract of Lease or Notarized Authorization from the owner of the property, for tenant or privately-owned premises
    • Proof or Right to Occupy the premises from concerned LGU or government agency for informal settlers of government owned properties
    • Proof of succession to the property or notarized authorization from the owner of the property (for change of billing name)
    • Deed of Absolute Sale or any proof of ownership
    • Electrical Inspection Report (EIR)
    • Clearances from DAMS, Audit, FSD and ISD

 SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
Senior Citizens Discount (SCD) is mandated based on Republic Act 7432 as amended by RA No. 9257 and RA 9994 of 2010 ERC Resolution No. 23 Dec. 15, 2020

Excerpt from RA 9257 & RA 9994 of 2010 "(c) the grant of a minimum of five percent (5%) discount relative to the monthly utilization of water and electricity supplied by the public utilities: Provided, that the individual meters for the foregoing utilities are registered in the name of the senior citizen residing therein: Provided, further, That the monthly consumption does not exceed one hundred kilowatt hours (100 kWh) of electricity and thirty cubic meters (30 m3) of water: Provided, furthermore, That the privilege is granted per household regardless of the number of senior citizens residing therein;

  HOW TO APPLY SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT

  1. The applicant (MCO) shall secure application form for Senior Citizens Discount (SCD) from the ISD-Consumer Division, Area Offices and Collection Centers;
  2. The applicant (MCO) shall comply all the documentary requirements and shall submit to ISD or Area Offices.
  3. The submitted documentary requirements shall be reviewed and if completely complied shall be approved and tagged in the system.
  DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Valid Senior Citizen Identification Card or Birth Certificate or any proof of Birth or Other Identification Cards presented (Passport, Driver`s License, Voter`s ID, SSS/GSIS, Postal ID)
  2. Barangay Certificate - Proof of Residency
  3. Copy of electric bill registered in the name of the Senior Citizen
  4. Proof of Authority (if through a representative)
    1. Valid Identification Card of representative
    2. Authorization letter duly signed by the Senior Citizen

  QUALIFICATIONS FOR AVAILMENT

  1. Consumption must not exceed One Hundred (100) kwhr; Kwhr meter must have been registered in his / her name for a period of not less than one (1) year
  2. Discount shall apply per household regardless of the number of the Senior Citizens residing therein;
  3. Senior Citizen discount can be applied personally or through an Authorized Representative
  4. Senior Citizen with multiple electric service contracts registered in one (1) name can only avail of the discount for the place where he/she actually resides
  5. Application for Senior Citizen discount must be renewed annually to ensure eligibility for the said benefit
